context: adult or older youth Sunday school, Christian
Education classes, women’s circles, men’s groups,

New Resources to
Heal the Body, Spirit and Creation
In partnership with Voices for Earth Justice,
the National Council of Churches Eco-Justice program is launching a new
environmental health initiative to educate congregations on how to protect
the sanctity of our bodily temples and God’s creation.
Today, pollutants and toxic chemicals
contaminate our water, our land, our personal care products and our
children’s toys. These contaminants
can cause health conditions ranging from asthma to cancer especially in
children, women, loc-income communities and communities of color.
There are safer alternatives to protect
creation and deliver justice to or children and our community. Learn to live an abundant life free of
toxics. Order a free copy
of the new NCC education, action and worship guide “Mindful Living: Human Health, Pollution and Toxics”. Inside you will find youth and
adult study ideas, sermon starters, and personal actions. Visit the new webpage www.nccecojustice.org/envhealthhome.htm
to learn more!!!
Learning about the Universe Story
Contains news,
articles, poetry, resources, ways to participate, events and more.
