Our beginnings were humble. We serve people and groups who are active in protecting the natural world. We sense a need to bring the energy of spirituality and theology to enrich the movement to save Earth.
We Provide ...
We also need volunteers with these skills: INTERFAITH YOUTH ENERGY SQUAD
(IYES)
IYES began in
October 2008 with the support of a grant from the Michigan Public Service
Commission. IYES is a
program of Voices for Earth Justice. How
IYES Works
In A Nutshell: IYES will train 30 to 60 high school students to do
basic energy audits and retrofits for low- to middle-income
families. Retrofits will include 13 services per home,
such as installing programmable thermostats, weatherizing windows,
and replacing showerheads. Once trained, crews of three students and
one adult volunteer will work with interested households to perform these
services. Each crew will retrofit about 15 homes by the end of May
2009. For more information, contact: Justin Schott -- Program
Director We will happily accept land in Southern Michigan, laser printer, larger plastic containers, composter, organic seeds, and gardening tools ... plus Home Depot or Office Depot gift cards.

Our Vision Yet Earth is being threatened by human activity. Thus Earth-Keeping is a moral issue based on justice, and we work for right relationships with everything God creates.
Our Rationale
The global environment with its finite
resources is a common concern of all peoples. The protection of Earth’s
vitality, diversity, and beauty is a sacred trust. —–The Earth
